Not the Limit
I’m not claiming to be a “super-ager.” Yesterday, however, I hiked to the top of Mt. St. Helens with two friends in their 20s. (Yes, my quads are screaming.)
On the way down, one told me her mother, slightly younger than me, says she’s “out of shape” and wants to turn that around to start hiking seriously with her daughter.
“I’m going to tell her about you,” my friend said, which is flattering—but the real win is that her mom didn’t make that bogus statement, “I’m too old to do hikes like that.”
Age is not what limits us.
